Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional winner's gala for the Polaris Music Prize did not take place, and instead a special cinematic tribute to the shortlist was streamed online by CBC Music and CBC Gem. This film was inspired by Jessie Reyez’s album of the same name.
